Epoxy Putty Sticks are a hand-kneadable, fast-setting compound regarding permanent repairs to wood. It also secures to steel, glass, brickwork and many plastic materials. It comes in a roll form with the curing agent encapsulated while in a part A and part B component.
Epoxy Sticks are available in a few different colors: Original is intended for slow-cure repairs that can take 20 to 30 minutes to set and 45 to 60 minutes to become ready to sand; Fast-Cure for yellowish wood; and Fast-Cure Dark intended for dark finishes has a cure time of 5 to 10 minutes with sanding ability in as little as 15 to 30 minutes. Shades could be mixed to develop or match up other lumber colors; pairing shades will probably shorten work life.
Specialty Epoxy Putty Sticks have a 20 to 30 minute work span. Fast-Cure Standard Colors have a 5 to 10 minute work span and must be applied inside of 2 minutes of combining. Functional repairs occur in approximately 1 hour; keeping in mind that epoxy sticks are not designed for structural purposes.
